Covid-19 Safeguarding Practice

To mitigate against the risk of coronavirus transmission and comply with government guidelines, whilst continuing to provide art psychotherapy, I am currently offering the option of remote sessions (online or phone) or in person sessions, to be based on an individual risk and benefit assessment.

For in person sessions, I provide:

  • Hand sanitiser and hand washing facilities
  • Maintaining social distancing
  • Additional ventilation during/between sessions – this means the room may be cooler than usual so please bring layers
  • Cleaning between sessions
  • I will open and close doors to minimise the need for you to touch surfaces
  • I will provide water but encourage you to bring your own refreshments if you would like.
  • I will provide you with your own set of art materials

If I have any symptoms of coronavirus or come into contact with anyone with the virus I will notify you and arrange remote sessions or to take a break accordingly. If required, I will also provide your details to the NHS test and protect service for your and others' safeguarding.

I ask that you similarly do not attend and notify me if you have a high temperature (37.8˚C or above), a new, continuous cough, or loss or change of sense of taste or smell, or if you have come into contact with someone in the past 14 days who may have coronavirus.

If you have any questions, concerns or additional requirements just let me know.
